Minquan Junior High School was established in August, 1968, under the leadership of the first principal, Mr. Chen Swei-Mu, and the second Principal, Lin Min-Je in August, 1977. In March, 1979, the Night School was established to provide supplementary courses. The following principals Chao Huei-Fan, Chen Mei-Chi, and Jeng Jeng Ji were devoted to the enrichments of teaching facilities. In August, 1996, Principal Yang Jen-Long was appointed to this school. Principal Yang made significant progress in environmental beautifying, greenery, and moral education. The discipline was emphasized and the quality of teaching was promoted. Free spaces on the campus were used as new garden plots. Despite the financial difficulties, he raised funds to renew the facilities and equipments. The campus turned out to be scenic. The progress in teaching quality and the emphasis on moral education were significant. Mr. Hu-Shi said, “ No pains, no gains.”

    Under the guidance of these principals, we have the confidence in steady advancements to remain the spirits of Minquan Junior High School.Then, in August, 2004, Hsu Yi-tsai superceided the position of the principal. And now, Minquan Junior High School grows up gradually by following Mr. Hsu. We hope Minquan will be better and better in the future.
